The documentary “Beagá, the Capital of Hip Hop” is produced by Encruza Produções and directed by Artur Ranne. The film seeks to tell the story of Belo Horizonte’s hip-hop scene, which is recognized today as one of the national hubs of hip-hop culture, and does so through the perspectives of local artists and producers from different generations since 1983, the year that marks the beginning of this seminal urban culture.
