The documentary sets out to retrace the life of Deolinda Rodrigues, who became one of the greatest symbols of the struggle for Angola’s liberation.
A diary written by the Angolan revolutionary is the only document that bears witness to a life dedicated to her country’s independence. However, the entries end on the day of her arrest in 1968, when she was a member of the Camy Squadron guerrilla group, which operated from the Congo to northern Angola.
