Festival ORI

On November 20, National Black Awareness Day, Cultne.TV will host the ORI Festival, featuring a lineup packed with comedy sketches, poetry slams, studio interviews, international correspondents, and segments on economics, fashion, beauty, and music—all celebrating the diversity and cultural richness of Brazil’s Black population. While certain currents insist on downplaying the immense importance of Zumbi dos Palmares’ legacy, the ORI Festival (a Yoruba word meaning “head,” both physical and spiritual) offers a deep dive into ancestry through materials from the Cultne archive.
