At BiD’s request, the track was given lyrics written by Gabriel Moura with the aim of celebrating the “bailes da pesada” and the DJs, musicians, singers, and dancers who created Brazil’s funk/soul scene in the 1970s.

Titled “Cavalo de aço,” the song features the voices of Gabriel Moura himself, Di Mello, and Paula Lima. The trio was assembled by BiD to sing the song’s lyrics, recorded this week at the artist’s production studio, Soul City, with musical production naturally orchestrated by BiD himself.
