The 2024 Diaspora Festival brought together more than 200 participants from cities across the United States and the state of Rio de Janeiro. Among the guests were five mayors from the United States, as well as representatives from 20 municipalities in the state of Rio de Janeiro, signatories to the Pact to Combat Racism, and members of the Global Network of Anti-Racist Cities, chaired by the Rio de Janeiro City Government.
