On July 13, 2023, the Instituto Pretos Novos and MuhCab hosted a pre-seminar meeting for the “Memory, Heritage, and Society” Seminar, a joint initiative of Ipeafro and the Casa Rui Barbosa Foundation. On the agenda were discussions aimed at bringing together the organizing partners and participants of the planned seminar program to establish a dialogue with civil society institutions that hold Black collections.
