About
A native of Rio de Janeiro, he was born in Gamboa on January 15, 1945. The son of musicians, he had been thinking of ways to express his views on life since he was a child. His first exposure to painting was at Heitor dos Prazeres’ studio. Later, he met, admired, and had the opportunity to spend time with, among others, the masters Gildemberg, R. Griot, Maricha, Holmes Neves, Heitor dos Prazeres Filho, Fernando V. da Silva, Di Cavalcante, Naval, and R. Gerchman. The first exhibition in which he participated was in 1972.
