12th Black Women's March in Rio de Janeiro
The 12th Rio de Janeiro State Black Women's March took place on Copacabana Beach. The event celebrates the International Day of Latin American and Caribbean Black Women and the National Day of Tereza de Benguela.
Several Black women’s groups are organizing the demonstration, calling for historical redress and action against racism, sexism, and the various forms of violence that affect the Black population.
