Intellectual and former minister Nilma Lino Gomes was awarded the Chiquinha Gonzaga Medal on June 30, 2026.
The ceremony took place at the UFRJ Science and Culture Forum in Rio de Janeiro. The honor, the highest distinction awarded by the Rio City Council, was proposed by Councilwoman Tainá de Paula.
