Exactly five years ago, two guys from the favela, Don Negralla and Rafa Barreto, launched a project to interview artists from the favelas and the outskirts who are brimming with talent, but for the most part fail to gain the recognition and visibility their respective arts deserve. From this initiative emerged the favela podcast “NÚ BARRACO NO AR” and today’s most famous catchphrase, created by our host: “FALA COMIGO FAVELA”!
