About
An actress since the age of 11, I also worked as a model. In 2002, I began my career as a hostess, a role I held for over 20 years, becoming a leading figure in the field and working on campaigns for brands such as Louis Vuitton, Amsterdam Sauer, Nike, Converse, MTV, Multishow, Fashion Rio, and São Paulo Fashion Week, among others. I have hosted celebrities such as: Grace Jones, Erika Baduh, Miss Elliot, Madonna, Kobe Bryant, former President Dilma Rousseff, Bill Clinton, Spike Lee, Angela Davis, Lenny Kravitz, Gisele Bündchen, Mario Testino, Jean Paul Gaultier, Tom Cruise, and others. As a cultural producer, I created the NaBeca parties, which brought DJs from the black scene in Rio’s suburbs to the South Zone for the first time, and the Baile Black Power, a party with a live band honoring the masters of soul, featuring guests such as Gerson King Combo, Carlos Dafé, Sandra de Sá, Be Negão, Hilton, and Marcelo Falcão. I was a founding partner of Truque Produções, producing corporate events and providing PR services for brands such as: Adidas, Nike, Coca-Cola, Quem Magazine (Carnival VIP Boxes in Rio and Salvador), Vogue, Marie Claire, Oi, Som Livre, and others.... I was a producer for nine years at the Centro Afrocarioca de Cinema and served as master of ceremonies for the Zózimo Bulbul Black Film Festival—Brazil, Africa, the Caribbean, and Other Diasporas—for seven years. As a master of ceremonies, I also hosted: RedBul Funk-se, the 1st edition of Rio Parada Funk, the 3rd Rio Without Prejudice Awards, the 5th Fluminense Heritage Meeting, the OCUPA-SE Project, TIM Music - Positive Women, and the opening of the Ancestral Treasures of Peru exhibition. A self-taught researcher of Black Culture for the past five years, I lead workshops that explore the History of Humanity from a real, Black perspective. I work as a talent at Côrtes Companhia, the first agency in the Brazilian market to work exclusively with Black content creators. As an actress: I made a guest appearance on the soap opera *Vai na Fé*, starred in 5 of the 10 episodes of the series *VIZINHOS* on Canal Brasil, performed in shows at *Nós do Morro* under the direction of Cico Caseira, and was part of the acting troupe for the *Vidiga Improvisa* project.
