About
Born in Rio de Janeiro, I grew up in a matriarchal Black family that taught me about affection, resilience, and the importance of community. I lived in Rio Grande do Sul, on the border with Argentina, where I studied journalism at the Federal University of Pampa, and today I divide my time between São Paulo and my hometown, always seeking out new stories and experiences. My passion for culture and memory is reflected in my hobbies: I love street markets, thrift stores, and museums, as well as exploring cities through food and connecting with people. Basketball was a central part of my life from age 11 to 18, and I still love it today, mainly because it taught me the value of practice and discipline. I am a journalist and communicator with experience in content production, research, scriptwriting, and reporting. Passionate about storytelling and understanding the origins of things, I believe in communication as a tool for accessing information and driving social change. I work primarily through impact journalism, covering events such as Feira Preta, Latinidades, and Negritudes GLOBO, as well as coordinating communications for the 4th Boogie Week, contributing articles and interviews to the Kondzilla Institute, and developing communication products at Cultne TV.
For me, every corner of the world has a story to tell, and I remain curious, open, and on the move.
