The project aims to advance the goals of re-educating ethnic and racial relations and fostering anti-racist historical literacy, while also promoting outstanding academic research on a wide range of topics.
The texts produced aim to foster reflection on overcoming racism in Brazil and on the democratization of knowledge through historical literacy practices. The project is particularly interested in contributing to the implementation of Law No. 10,639/2003, which made the teaching of African and Afro-Brazilian history and culture mandatory.
