Samba do Mercado Velho paid tribute to the late composer Beto Sem Braço with a very special samba circle.
Beto Sem Braço emerged from the samba circles of the Ramos neighborhood as one of Brazil’s greatest samba composers. The name that made him famous in the music world stemmed from a tragic accident: as a child, the samba musician fell from a horse and had to have his right arm amputated.
