Streamed online directly from Rocinha on April 11, 2021, the digital Rio Parada Funk brought that unique, electrifying atmosphere—found only at funk parties—to the smart TVs, smartphones, tablets, and computers of funk fans everywhere. The sound crew in the Emoções parking lot, with the backdrop of Latin America’s largest favela, provided the perfect setting for the performance.
