The festival was created to show that funk is a force to be reckoned with, it is art, it is memory, and it is a diverse form of expression. Funk takes the stage to celebrate the culture of the outskirts!
The initiative, conceived by suburban filmmaker Érica Sansil of the production company Dois Olhos Negros (@2olhosnegros), in partnership with cultural producers Mano Teko (@manotekorj) and Diana Anastácia of Braba Produções (@abrabaproduz), took place on May 23, 24, and 25, at the Armando Gonzaga Theater in Marechal Hermes
