The series "Everybody Hates Chris" aired from September 2005 to May 2009 on the American television network The CW; it is currently broadcast in Brazil on the Record network. Tichina Arnold plays Chris’s mother, Rochelle Rock, who acts like a dictator toward her family, bosses her husband around, yells at the whole family, and hits her children. For her, yelling is normal—so much so that she already speaks as if she were about to yell.
