On International Day of Latin American and Caribbean Black Women, the Mundo Negro website celebrated the achievements of Black women from various fields who are changing their own lives, their families’ lives, and society as a whole.
In the "Black Women Shaping Histories" Powerlist, the 10 women were selected by Silvia Nascimento, CEO and editor-in-chief of Mundo Negro, based on editorial criteria that took into account these women’s relevance and social impact within their communities. Black women are excelling in their careers and in business, making a difference through diversity initiatives and with a mission to include more Black people in their workplaces
