In celebration of Black Awareness Week and with the aim of honoring African heritage and traditions, the event is taking over downtown Rio de Janeiro with plenty of music.
The event featured three days of free programming, including hip-hop, samba circles, and Baile Charme, among other activities. Black music was celebrated through the work of Dom Filó, DJ Nenném, and Sir Dema. Cultne.TV was in attendance, featuring Sami Brasil and Baile Black Bom.
