The festival’s 5th anniversary was held at the iconic Negrão de Lima Viaduct in Madureira. The event features an extensive lineup that includes food, fashion, literature, and, of course, plenty of music.
“Wakanda In Madureira” aims to combat racism by celebrating Black culture. It promotes a safe space for collective and individual experiences that use decolonialism as a fundamental catalyst. A major platform for Black and peripheral art to be showcased, as well as a vast network connecting consumers and Black entrepreneurs, thereby circulating the popular economy and symbols of resistance and appreciation for the Black population.
