Janaina Melo holds a degree in Public Relations and specializes in Affirmative Advertising. She has worked in communications and marketing at companies such as Beleza Natural and Reed Elsevier/Editora Campus. She served as a planner at the Diálogos agency, working on human rights campaigns and initiatives with the Favelas Observatory, including Jovem Negro Vivo, On Lage, Favela 3D, and has never left the nonprofit sector. She served as a project manager at the Adobe Foundation and Rise Up Care; for two years, she was a member of the Rio de Janeiro Regional Committee for the UN World Creativity Day; and she coordinated the Feira da Providência, managing communications, strategy, innovation, and fundraising.
