Cultural producer, rapper, and songwriter. He began his artistic career at age 21 with the band Consciência Tranquila, a Black Music collective he founded in 2002. The band is the resident act at the Baile Black Bom da Pedra do Sal; with a 15-year history, they have toured throughout Brazil and abroad, performing at major events and venues such as Virada Cultural in Manaus (AM), Festival Demo Sul (Londrina, PR), Festival RPB (Fortaleza, CE), Kizombeat (ARG), Circo Voador, Fundição Progresso, Palco Tendências at the Olympic Boulevard, the launch of the Museum of Tomorrow, and on TV shows such as Aglomerado on Canal Brasil, “Espelho” with Lázaro Ramos, and Superstar on Rede Globo. He founded his own cultural production company, Botacara Produções Artísticas, which leads various projects in the independent cultural scene, heading up several festivals such as Festival Intercultural and Money Festival, as well as major events like Madrugada no Centro at the CCBB, Casa Blocona at Casa França Brasil, OOni de Ifé no Brasil at the Municipal Theater, and many others.
